Getting Started
On our new and enhanced Order Screen, there are many ways that you can search for the drugs. When you first navigate to the Order Screen you will see that we’ve provided you with a quick reference guide with some helpful tips. You can search by several different criteria and by many different combinations. For example, you can now search for a drug by entering the first three letters and the drug strength (topiramate 100mg= top 100). These types of searches will show you everything in stock that starts with “top” and only 100mg. You can also now search using parts of the drug description. Just type ond and odt to search for Ondansetron ODT. Just like before you will also receive GPI matches for those products.
Brand New Features
Once you’ve typed in your search contents you will see the grid appear. At first glance, you’ll see that the Order Screen, for the most part, looks very much as it did. We just added a few new tweaks that will make narrowing your searches and monitoring your carts much more convenient. On the left side of the grid, you’ll notice the new filtering options. You can select as many as you’d like and then click the blue refresh button to deselect all of the options from that section. If you need to have a little more space on your grid you can click the toggle above the drug images to minimize the filter menu. If you come across a product that has a tan quantity field that indicates that the wholesaler has a maximum or minimum quantity limit for the product. Hover your mouse over the field to see what those limits are. If you type a value that exceeds the limit a pop-up will alert you and an adjustment will be made to your cart. And lastly, you may notice that we have shifted a few of the columns to the left. The Wholesaler, Hx, and Last Ordered columns have moved down adjacent to the B/G column to make them easier to see.
To help you keep track of what’s happening in your cart without having to navigate away from the Order Screen we’ve added a new feature in the wholesaler filter that will allow you to keep track of your shipping minimums for those individual wholesalers. First, if there are items in the wholesaler's cart the text color will change from black to either red or blue. The color will depend on whether or not you’ve met your cart minimum. To learn more about what’s happening with that particular cart just hover your mouse over the wholesaler name and a pop-up will appear letting you know what else is required in order to meet shipping minimums. However, you can still see all of your carts at a glance by clicking the plane icon next to the search bar.
Original Features
Many of the features you are already familiar with are still in place, but if you are new to the PharmSaver community let’s do a quick walk-through of the great ways our Order Screen was already making PharmSaver customers' ordering process quick and efficient. What might be the most obvious feature is all the beautiful colors you’ll see, but they each have a specific function. Green for Best Price, Pink for Short Date, Teal for Contracted items, Gray for Formulary items, and Tan for items you’ve previously Purchased. You can find these identifiers in your filter list. You’ll also notice that above some columns there are search bars. You can enter information in those search bars to refine your results as well. Other tools that you’ll still find are the Speed Entry function, the Drug Detail Pop-Up, and the Purchase History Pop-Up. And of course, you can click on the header of any column to sort that column's contents as well.
