What is PharmSaver?
PharmSaver is a custom pharmaceutical e-commerce platform that was created to save U.S. pharmacies time and money. Our system is easy-to-use, powerful, feature rich, and simply the best pharmaceutical ordering service available. We offer a one-stop shop that connects your pharmacy to a dynamic marketplace with over a dozen top-quality pharmaceutical wholesalers.

Is it really free for pharmacies?
Yes!
It is free for your pharmacy to sign up and take advantage of all of PharmSaver's valuable features. Wholesalers will bill you directly for your purchases.

How does PharmSaver get paid?
PharmSaver is paid a small amount by individual wholesalers after your order has been delivered and accepted. By participating on a platform that offers genuine competition, our wholesalers are proud to help pharmacies save money, and for them, gain valuable new customers.

Pharmacies

Is it really easy to use?
Yes!
We strive to make PharmSaver easy to use so, you don't have to spend a lot of time training or on the order page and can spend more time with your customers. We welcome your feedback! This helps us make the platform better.

How much can I expect to save?
This is variable but it is possible to achieve 50% to 90% savings on select drugs. Most pharmacies save hundreds, if not thousands of dollars, over the course of a month. Within the system, savings are based on how each individual pharmacy sets up their parameters. We allow you to enter your existing discounts, as well as your desired savings level. You can control how much you spend each month, as well as which wholesalers you purchase from.

What are your shipping cutoffs?
Each wholesaler manages their shipping cutoff times. This information can be found within each wholesaler’s section when you are viewing the cart.

Who pays for shipping?
In most cases, wholesalers offer FREE SHIPPING based on their minimum order amounts. Several wholesalers let pharmacies pay for shipping on below minimum orders.

How will I know the status of my prescription drugs after I order them?
You will receive a confirmation e-mail that provides you with the shipping date and status (full, partial, declined). You can review the order history page and see the shipper's tracking number.

Can I track my shipment?
Yes. We'll provide a courier tracking number when we send your confirmation.

How do I change my shipping address?
You will need to contact customer service to provide your new location. You must also provide copy of a pharmacy licenses reflecting the new address.

Can you ship to my P.O. Box or my home?
No. PharmSaver will only deliver to your registered pharmacy address.

Does buying on PharmSaver affect my wholesaler rebates?
There is a chance it may. Keep in mind; however, the prices on PharmSaver may actually be less than your current rebate prices. PharmSaver provides you an identical opportunity as buying from a secondary wholesaler.

Do you have Transactional Statements?
Yes!
Wholesalers submit the transactional statements directly to our website and these are available for viewing.

Do you have ways to maintain pharmacy budgets?
Yes!
Each pharmacy has the ability to set budget parameters. These parameters can be changed at any time to allow exceptions. This also pinpoints and filters out the pricing and wholesaler that best matches the parameter settings while finding the best possible price for each item ordered.

Do you sell controlled drugs?
Yes!
Our main focus is generics with brands and some OTC's but we do offer control items available for purchase from specific vendors.

Are you EDI compatible?
Yes!
, absolutely! Our platform is 100% EDI compatible, with integrations from Pioneer, RX30, MicroMerchant, QS1, and many more software dispensing systems. Please give us a call to discuss this further.

Chains

Do you accept chains?
Yes!
If you operate a chain of pharmacies, PharmSaver makes it easy for you to centralize the management of your locations. From one interface, you can set spending limits, require purchase orders, approve orders, and more.

Can I order for individual pharmacies as a chain?
We let chain administrators decide how ordering is managed for the pharmacies. You can have pharmacies order individually and you receive notification or you can order for them or optionally, you can set PharmSaver where a pharmacy orders but a chain administrator approves the order before it is processed.

Can I set order limits for each pharmacy?
As a chain administrator you can set monthly order limits, limits on individual checkouts and individual item cost.

Can I select wholesalers the pharmacies can order from?
Yes, as a chain administrator you can view wholesaler names, addresses, contact information and shipping requirements. You can select the wholesalers that will work best for your organization.
05.
Are there chain specific reports?
PharmSaver features a number of reports for chains such as a Pharmacy List, Credit Status, Drug Sales, Sales Summary, Top Items purchased and more.
Wholesalers

Which wholesalers do you carry?
We work directly with Blupax, Healthsource Distributors, IntegralRx, Parmed and other major wholesalers.
02.
Are your wholesalers NABP DDA (formerly VAWD) accredited?
Currently with the exception of two wholesalers, all of our wholesalers are DDA certified, formerly known as VAWD certified.
03.
Do you accept new wholesalers?
Yes. Our process for accepting new wholesalers is based on a very stringent policy including being NABP DDA accredited. If you'd like more information, please call us at 813-961-1494.
