Pharmacy owners and Purchasing Managers: Are you taking advantage of the benefits of short-dated inventory purchasing? PharmSaver makes it easy to find great deals on these valuable products.

A Quick Intro: Short-dated drugs are often sold at a discount, helping your pharmacy reduce costs, increase profit margins, or pass savings to your customers. They can also be essential during medication shortages, ensuring patient access to needed treatments when regularly dated items are out of stock. Additionally, purchasing short-dated medications allows you to meet immediate demand at a lower cost while maintaining efficient inventory management.

How to find short-dated drugs on PharmSaver:

Drug Order Page: This serves as the primary tool for locating products on PharmSaver. To find short-dated items, such as Albuterol Sulfate 4mg TABS, enter "albuterol 4 mg" in the search bar. Then, use the "Short Date" filter located on the left side of the page to narrow your results. If you're seeking all short-dated offers from a specific wholesaler, simply search for "*" and select the desired wholesaler. Once their catalog appears, apply the "Short Date" filter to view all eligible short-dated deals.

Cart Genie: Simplifies the checkout process once you've added items to your cart. Start by clicking the "Help me checkout" link to view all available Cart Genie features. Among these options is Short Dated Offers, which allows you to explore all short-dated deals offered by the selected wholesaler.

PO Upload: While PharmSaver's revolutionary PO Upload doesn't specifically match only short-dated items, it can be used to included them. Click on My Account at the top right of the page, select Manage Account. Scroll to the Pharmacy Best Price Ordering section and review Min Short Date options.
