Update Acquisition Costs Automatically

Are you manually updating drug prices from invoices to maintain pricing your pharmacy software system? Pharmsaver has been working with PMS vendors to create system interfaces including Pioneer, Liberty and most recently Micro Merchants. Having an interface automatically update drug prices increases accuracy while not adding additional staff time. Our pharmacist’s say it best:

" It's important to have an accurate grasp of margins to ensure that we are running profitably. Knowing the sources and the prices allows us to choose where to purchase drug. Another added advantage is the automatic updating of inventory levels since we use perpetual inventory, this saves us time as we don't have to enter invoices manually. It's a huge advantage to have accurate margins reflected in the system while filling, it helps run an efficient workflow. Having an interface between Pharmsaver and our pharmacy software system is a no brainer. "

Using an automated process helps you get the increased workflow efficiency and a more streamlined ordering process.

Did You Know?

PharmSaver Loves Chains!

Yes, it's true. PharmSaver loves pharmacy chains and they love PharmSaver. It’s a great relationship. Whether your chain has three stores or thirty, PharmSaver makes it easy to control ordering and get rolled up reporting.

Each pharmacy within a chain can have a separate login or the chain can have users allowed to login for all stores. PharmSaver even makes it possible for a pharmacy to add items to their cart and a chain purchasing supervisor review the cart prior to checkout.

If your chain has a person that orders for all stores, PharmSaver can handle that too where the pharmacy can login and look but only the chain can add item into the cart.

With PharmSaver chains get to control the wholesalers that a pharmacy can order from. Do you like wholesaler A and B but don’t want to purchase from C? It’s easily done with the Chain Manage Wholesalers page.

Chain users get to see all store orders and notifications so they can quickly see order and shipping status.

Have a chain and like what you see? Contact PharmSaver at 813-961-1494 and we will get you setup right away.

Oops! Did you just close that tab on your web browser?

That always happens when you expect it least. Maybe you were on PharmSaver’ cart page and getting ready to checkout at 5:58pm – right before cutoff - and you have five tabs open on your web browser. Well, now you have four open.

Thankfully the major web browser developers (Google, Mozilla, Apple, Microsoft) made it easy to recover. If you are using a PC use Ctrl + Shift + T. On a Macintosh use Command + Shift + T.

Your browser tab should restore within a second. Go ahead and give it a try.

Gingerbread Cake

Easy Gingerbread Cake

This easy-to-make Gingerbread Cake could possibly be your new favorite. Serve it up with whipped cream for a treat that all can enjoy!

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup molasses
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup hot water
  • Whipped cream

Let's get Baking!

This Gingerbread Cake recipe uses a 9 x 13 cake pan. Lightly spray with cooking oil. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large bowl mix sugar and butter until smooth. Add egg and molasses into the mix.

In a separate bowl mix flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and salt. Slowly pour this into sugar butter mixture, adding water and stirring until smooth.

Pour batter into cake pan and bake for 35 to 45 minutes, depending on altitude and type of pan. You may want to check if cake is done by inserting toothpick into the center of the cake. If it comes out clean, it's ready!

Enjoy your cake with whipped cream topping.
